Business Analyst (Business Process Modelling, SWOT)Remote (occasional travel to South Manchester) Role Description This role is responsible for working with Business teams across Manpower Group UK for leading the identification and specification of business requirement for a specific transformation program and change initiative. You will be writing high spec business requirements and feature specs meeting expectations of key stakeholders and helping in the transformation of specific business areas. You will then work with the wider Project team to ensure your deliverables are completed in line with the agreed timescales. ScopeThis is a ManpowerGroup UK wide role and will work across all ManpowerGroup UK brands. General Responsibilities Working with the Business team to map out Business processes that are aligned wherever possible to target the overall operational transformation goals, helping them to agree an operational best practice standards and future workflows, including identification of operational efficiencies and standardisationPreparing business requirements, documenting As Is and To Be processes and delivering process flows (Including running workshops, customer journey mapping)Ensure that the Business Requirements are analysed fully, with appropriate engagement from the business teams including the review of current processes and data sourcesProvide project level analysis - producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, requirements traceability matrix, prioritisation, use cases, sequence / flow diagrams, future state proposals)Documenting non-functional requirements in order to ensure that these are fulfilled through implementation phasesAct as the central control point for business analysis activities including working with third-party supplier business analysts and technical teams, as appropriateProvide assistance and support for the definition of the operational processes and proceduresAssist the business to produce workarounds where requirements cannot be met fullyAnalyse, implement, document and update processes to ensure company goals and business case objectives are metEnsure full integration of all process and linkage to best practicesLiaise with third party vendors to ensure alignment of 'to be' processes with low complexity, configurable tech solutionsAssist in the development of cost and benefits caseDevelopment and management of business test scripts and test execution Technical and Professional SkillsWorking knowledge of recruitment sectorProven training / recognised qualification / experience in Business process modellingWorking with business analysis toolsets and within various project methodologiesChallenging existing mindsets and behaviours to ensure fit for purpose solutions are identified and deliveredAbility to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentLean process techniquesCommunication / presentation of business requirements, process design and improvements upwards at a high level and downwards at a detailed levelManaging stakeholder expectationsReviewing requirements documentation and process designs produced by othersContinuous improvement methodologiesAnalysis techniques such as SWOT, BPM, Use case modelling and non-functional user stories Desirable Skills/Experience: Working with remote teamsBCS certificate/diploma or equivalent (eg CBAP)Personal SkillsAn ability to keep the strategic business outcomes in mind and their workplan so that day to day operational activities do not result in these outcomes becoming compromised.A mindset that is results and outcome centric, able to embrace change and apply it creatively to existing business situationsWilling to challenge the status quo/current thinking in a constructive and persuasive manner and achieve win/winAble to take on and bring round entrenched behavioursPragmatic - not a perfectionistAble to manage own workload and think independentlyA logical, process-driven approachFlexible and adaptable to emerging business needsExcellent teamworkingCollaboration and negotiation skillsHandling conflict in a calm mannerA mindset that is comfortable operating at both conceptual and practical levelsAble to explain complex concepts in a simple way and communicate the decisions required in a timely manner Interested candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
