Liverpool City Council is looking to recruit a SAP ERP Technical Specialist to join our ICT Application Support Team based in Liverpool's famous Cunard Building.

Your role will be to provide ICT Technical Specialist support to staff and technical teams who use the suite of SAP modules within Liverpool City Council. You will contribute to the design, testing, development, implementation, maintenance and support of new and existing SAP technologies within the SAP estate.

You'll work alongside other Technical Specialists and Professionals within ICT to ensure SAP system benefits are leveraged and the system is being utilised in an effective and functional manner.

Previous SAP experience is essential in this role as you will be involved in maintaining and supporting critical financial business systems. Key responsibilities will include daily operational and system checks, working with our current 3rd party support partner Salford City Council and SAP system users to co-ordinate our SAP system patch maintenance programme and development roadmap.

System support experience in a number of the following SAP Solution areas would be extremely beneficial for this role:
