*Experience of AngularJS.

Desirable experience:

*Experience of data wrangling.

*Experience of programming against Ex Libris APIs.

*Experience of Reading Lists systems.

*Understanding bibliographic data and authority records.

*Knowledge of academic Libraries.

Deliverables

The Analyst will be asked to undertake a range of tasks including the following:

*This will focus on developing the work previously undertaken and seek to apply it to a wider range of subject disciplines.

*In doing this, we will also seek to incorporate data from a broader range of sources, and potentially different sources for different disciplines. This work will be informed by the work of the intern this summer to analyse the spread and nature of references in existing Reading Lists.

*We will also seek to incorporate an evaluation of references to monographs and monograph extracts rather than just journal articles with DOIs

*The production of a prototype tool to analyse the diversity of sources in an individual Reading List. The tool will be designed to work with the Library's Leganto reading list system. We envisage that this tool will be developed in PHP or an equivalent modern alternative language such as Python.

*The Analyst will work with the LITE Fellow to produce a range of quantitative and potentially qualitative outputs from the tool so that a better understanding of what data can be produced and how best to present it can be determined. This data and the prototype tool will then be used by the LITE Fellow to engage with academics and to conduct pilot evaluations of Reading Lists.

*Involvement with data and non-functional testing of the prototype tool against requirements prior to delivery.

*Appropriate liaison with staff involved with the main Reading Lists Migration Project.

*Preparation of documentation regarding the prototype tool and the data produced.
