Senior Staff Manufacturing Operation Engineer - MOCVD

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Operation Engineer with a strong background in Metal-Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) process with knowledge of compound semiconductor wafers, III-V materials such as GaN in a manufacturing environment for high voltage power devices or LEDs looking for the next step in your career?

This is a Senior Staff Engineer position in which you will have direct leadership responsibilities in the areas of organizing work flows, optimizing operator time, streamlining wafer characterization, and improving overall team efficiency

In this role you will be required to oversee the MOCVD process manufacturing and engineering activities on multi-wafer production reactors for high voltage devices, collaborate with cross functional engineering and manufacturing operations team to support epitaxy reactors, wafer metrology tools, and related wafer fabrication equipment and overall support and document production action plans.

The successful candidate will be able to support reactor maintenance activities and have proven success in meeting aggressive operational objectives: throughput, reactor utilization, yield, etc.

The Role

* Support MOCVD process manufacturing and engineering activities on multi-wafer production reactors for high voltage devices

* Support and document production action plans

* Senior Staff Manufacturing Operation Engineer

* Collaborate with cross functional engineering and manufacturing operations team to support epitaxy reactors, wafer metrology tools, and related wafer fabrication equipment

The Person

* Master's in Relevant Degree

* 5+ years experience in MOCVD epitaxial deposition of III-Vs materials in a volume production environment

* Experience with GaN material growth with Veeco's MOCVD tools

* Experience with epitaxy reactors, wafer metrology tools, and related wafer fabrication equipment
