AWS Redshift DBAA leading powerhouse within the technology insurance sector is hiring an AWS Redshift DBA with strong capabilities in AWS Redshift on a rolling contract paying up to £550 per day OUTSIDE IR 35. This is remote working opportunity, which offers exposure to the latest development methodologies / technologies.
This role will be focused on building a process that will combine both Data Engineering practices and processes with warehouse management on AWS Redshift to allow us to ensure we are able to recover effectively in a disaster scenario.
What will it take to be successful?
Essential:
Experience with AWS Redshift ideally in a DBA capacity
Experience building procedures using SQL or Postgres SQL
Performance Monitoring and Tuning, back-up and restore strategies, replication techniques on Redshift or similar Cloud based Warehouse technology
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired:
Knowledge of Data Engineering practices
Experience of Agile practices
Knowledge of Testing best practices for Databases
AWS RDS, S3 and Athena experience
Rate - £550 per day - Outside IR 35 - Immediate Start - 2 stage interview process
