Bring your PMO expertise to a complex new environment About us The Border and Protocol Delivery Group (BPDG) coordinates, supports, and oversees work by government departments and agencies to address challenges to post-Brexit border security, revenue, and trade. Our high-performing PMO Team is a nominee in the Project Delivery category at the 2021 Civil Service Award. About the role Joining our Infrastructure Programme Management Office (PMO), you'll contribute to the delivery of next-generation border controls by monitoring and reporting on the progress of infrastructure and the move to operational readiness. This includes supporting cross-government working groups and steering groups, and being aware of risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions. Deputising for the Head of Infrastructure PMO - Border Delivery, you will manage the day-to-day performance of the team. You'll also ensure activities are assigned, tracked and delivered, and that all PMO products are created on time and to a high standard About you You'll need an outstanding track-record in project management, including in-depth knowledge of project management strategies, processes and tools. With strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, you'll be equipped to analyse a range of complex data and make decisions based on analytical findings. You'll also have strong computer skills and knowledge of PMO software tools. Your solid communication and interpersonal skills will be matched by your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
