Lead QA Test Engineer London / WfH to £95k

Lead QA Test Engineer / Software Tester (Java React Selenium WebDriver) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a skilled senior QA Test Engineer and an advocate of automation? You could be progressing your career in a senior hands-on role, working on a modern microservices tech stack with continual learning and self development opportunities at a global FinTech.

As a Lead QA Test Engineer you will be able to influence the frameworks and technology choices, in conjunction with the Head of QA. You'll remain hands-on writing automated tests whilst leading a small team - providing technical expertise and mentoring. You'll work closely with Developers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Product Owners to aid them in defining testing requirements that align to the business requirements, give advice on the testability of technical solutions and minimise risk to deployments.

There's a remote interview process, following that you'll join colleagues in the London office 1 day a week from January with the other 4 days work from home if desired.

Requirements:

You're an experienced QA Test Engineer with a good understanding of a range of methodologies and processes

You have experience of building automation tests (Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured, Cypress)

You have Java and / or React coding skills

You have a good understanding of CI/CD

You have some technical leadership / team management experience

You're collaborative and pragmatic, happy to help others develop and take ownership
