The successful candidate will have a proactive nature and fire prevention not firefighting mentality. As a business they are good at firefighting but where they need people to help management is to make sure they document process, focus more on procedure, and perform root cause analysis. An ideal candidate would enjoy working on plans to make sure that incidents do not repeat themselves.

Essential skills

- Have proven 3-5 yrs good 2nd Line solid Support experience

- Have demonstrable technical knowledge across Windows 7 & 10 Desktop, MS Office suite and Active Directory support including at least 30% of the wider group technology base

- Microsoft Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2019 (including Active

- Microsoft Office 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Teams

- Virtualisation technologies including VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V

- Networking principals including VLAN's and routing.

- Firewall solutions such as SonicWALL.
