Role Responsibilities Identifies, assesses and solves complex business and IT problems, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, and apply DevOps solutions to enable client successFollows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goalsInteracts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approachHas some latitude in decision-making - decisions have a major day to day impact on the area of responsibilityActs independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignmentsManages teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within our businessDrives clients' DevOps capability assessments and provides industry subject matter expertiseDefines DevOps capability, transformation strategies and roadmapsFacilitates DevOps discussions throughout the lifecycle of client engagementsContributes to DevOps practices development including asset creation, enterprise strategy definitionDesigns and directs all aspects of Continuous Delivery AutomationPre SalesRequired skills5 years of experience in managing application development, software delivery lifecycle, and/or infrastructure development and administrationMinimum of 5 year's design and implementation of CI/CD and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.Minimum of 5 year's experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Sonar, SeleniumMinimum of 5 years of experience with approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery and deployment of softwareMinimum of 5 year of experience working in an Agile delivery environmentMinimum of 4 year's experience with KubernetesMinimum of 3 year's experience in automation scripting using one or more of the following languages: Perl, Ruby, Bash, or PythonMinimum of 3 year's experience in Cloud NativeMinimum of 3 year's experience in Test-Driven DevelopmentPersonYou may already be working in a highly technical environment and will have honed your skills over the last 5 years or more.You will be eager to develop your career technically and grow professionally.DevOps leadership experienceExperience leading multi-disciplinary teams, working in a fast-paced, high-velocity agile environmentA capacity for constant learning from both success and failure, remaining open to change and continuous improvementFlexible and dynamic mindsetStrong communicationFluency English, both written and spokenPatience and honestyExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills Full and further details are available.Contact Simon Portway
