Python Software Engineer London / WfH To £700 p/day

Python Software Engineer / Developer (Python 3.9 C++) *Hybrid WfH 12 month contract £700 p/day*. Global FinTech is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with Python expertise to be instrumental in a project to migrate current Python production code to Python 3, they're using Python 3.9 now - you'll assess current systems, devise a strategy and execute the migration, building in automation as much as possible. You'll join an Agile team and work closely with C++ Software Engineers.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process; following this you'll be based in an award winning office space with amazing views of the City, open plan desk space, breakout areas, quiet areas and a range of onsite facilities such as a free fully stocked food hall area; there's also flexibility to work from 3-4 days a week.

Requirements:

You have expertise with Python, including Python 3

You have a good understanding of C++ (able to read and understand, ideally able to code using C++)

You pride yourself on well written, long standing code and incremental improvements across the full software development lifecycle

You're collaborative and pragmatic
