Big Data Senior Solutions Architect

Mix of Home Working / London EMEA HQ

Permanent, Full Time

As Senior Solution Architect, you will have a cutting-edge role on the Architecture team, maintaining an understanding of business needs and developing sustainable and innovative architectures and solutions. You will immerse yourself in our service & business processes, data flows and data models.

Working with key individuals on other teams you will develop architectures which will support the current and future needs of our rapidly growing business. You will work collaboratively with departments such as Product Management, Engineering, and InfoSec to identify opportunities to increase revenues, reduce overhead, and rapidly and continually deliver value to our customers. In collaboration with others you will be responsible for creating and maintaining architectural standards and blueprints.

Your Job

*Working with multiple business units gathering process flow information, data flows and data models, to better understand current state as well as challenges and opportunities for improvement

*Develop and maintain a systems architecture that will address existing and emergent business requirements

*Socialize and validate the systems architecture with other business units

*Develop solution architectures that will best meet business needs and requirements

*Provide critical thinking and technical leadership from idea creation through to execution

*Lead presentations, to socialize and validate proposed architectures with other business units

*Collaborate with technical architects in Engineering to define cohesive solutions

*Review solution architectures and detailed designs

*Maintain alignment between solution architectures and overall enterprise architectures

*Develop architectural standards and blueprints

Your Skills

*A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior architecture role of similar level of responsibilities

*Ability to develop holistic solutions from diverse stakeholder requirements

*Proven ability and track record in clearly aligning technical solutions with explicit business objectives

*Experience in logically and rationally documenting processes and models using diagrams and presenting findings to various levels of senior management

*Ability to exercise tact and discretion and to be entrusted with confidential information

*Have a 'solution based' mind set, and be proactive in driving improvements to processes and systems
