API Tester London / WfH to £65k

API Tester / QA Test Engineer (RESTful API Java JavaScript Automation) *Hybrid WFH*. Do you have a deep understanding of RESTful APIs coupled with test automation experience? You could be joining a fast growing FinTech that is helping to revolutionise consumer banking through the use of advanced data centric, cloud based technology.

As an API Tester you will join an Agile development team that specialise in API and Front End development with a focus on creating test automation test suites to test complex RESTful APIs utilising JavaScript, Java and WebdriverIO. You'll be an integral part of the development process, evangelising TDD and collaborating with software engineers across the software development lifecycle.

There's a remote interview process and flexibility to work from home three days a week, when you're in the office you can enjoy a great team environment with spacious dining area, continuous supply of breakfast, snacks and drinks as well as games rooms and quiet spaces.

Requirements:

You have strong experience and a deep understanding of testing RESTful APIs including Authentication & Authorisation, API responses and API response codes (e.g. the difference between 401 and 403)

You're able to code with JavaScript and / or Java (will also look at Python experience)

You have experience of developing automated tests from scratch

You have a good understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile development processes

You're collaborative with great communication skills, keen to learn and develop your career

As an API Tester you will earn a competitive salary (to £65k) plus benefits.
