IT Support Analyst
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience) Do you have IT support experience and a passion for customer service and resolving technical issues? We are the Institution of Structural Engineers - the world's largest membership body dedicated to the art and science of structural engineering. The Role Our in-house IT team are looking to recruit an IT professional who is eager to support a wide range of users. This is a busy and reactive role requiring across-the-board technical knowledge and aptitude for providing excellent customer service. As the IT Support Analyst, you will take ownership of all service desk issues, proactively responding, resolving, and escalating queries as applicable to ensure that all staff are able to perform their role. You'll also ensure workstations run effectively through regular system checks and monitoring. This is an exciting opportunity to expand and develop your knowledge and understanding of a variety of systems. Working in a small team provides the ability to be involved in projects to improve the efficiencies of the team as well as lead on small ad hoc projects as required. To succeed in this role, you need to be comfortable in independently managing a complex workload and be able to work calmly under pressure. To be shortlisted for this post, you must have: - Experience of 1st and 2nd line helpdesk including use of a helpdesk ticketing system
- In-depth knowledge of MS desktop products and operating systems
- Excellent working knowledge of mobile devices, VoIP and VPN 
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills Experience of working in a not-for-profit organisation would be beneficial to your application.
