Backend Software Engineer London / WfH to £70k

Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net Core AWS) *Hybrid WfH*. Would you like to be an opportunity to join a well-funded early stage start-up that is experiencing great success? As a Backend Software Engineer you'll collaborate with a small, highly talented team to design and develop new features and services for the core product as it scales; an adventure travel booking eCommerce site.

You'll be using the latest .Net technologies and SOLID coding principles (KISS, DRY), working across the full development lifecycle from design decisions and coding standards through to QA and DevOps initially with a focus on building APIs and applications to support the website operations and real-time data management behind the scenes. There's a number of real-time booking engines across a range of transport methods including flight companies and hoteliers, trips etc., encompassing it all on to one platform to present a unique application to manage all for the customer.

The co-founders have a track record of success in this space and technology is the real driver; you'll be continually learning and empowered to take ownership.

There's a remote interview, flexible working times and the ability to work from home the majority of the time; although you will be expected to work in the office in South London around once a week / when needed for meet-ups.

Requirements:

You have a genuine enthusiasm for technology and are excited by the prospect of working for a successful and growing start-up where you can have influence and progress your career in-line with company growth

You have strong C# backend development skills, including Entity framework experience

You have a good knowledge of SQL Server

You have AWS experience

You're collaborative with Agile team experience, happy to get involved across the entire software development lifecycle

You're an advocate of SOLID design principles and TDD

You're upbeat and highly motivated with great communication skills
