Their main duties will include the support of existing developers alongside the design and delivery of new SQL based solutions to the business. You will have a strong academic background, ideally educated to degree level or with significant practical experience. A keen interest in Management Information is highly desirable for this role.Essential Skills:Write and optimize data extraction scripts from SQL ServerDesigning insurance illustration documents using Dox42 and SSRSEnsure performance, security, and availability of databasesPrepare and maintain documentation, for example technical specification data dictionaryHandle common database proceduresWriting stored proceduresHands on experience in SSIS programmingSupport existing and further develop ETL solutions using SSISCollaborate with other team members and stakeholdersAssist with the development of Management Information solutions with data modelling and Power BI ReportsCreate, maintain and modify reports (SSRS)Personal skills:Experience of Microsoft Azure platformPower BI data analytics Accuracy and excellent attention to detailA team playerSelf-motivated, able to work on own initiativeOrganized, able to prioritize effectively and deliver with a strong focus on qualityMust Have:Writing and optimizing data extraction scripts from SQL serverUsing Dox42 and SSRSExperience of SSIS programmingPowerBI data analytics andExperience of Microsoft Azure platformTo apply, please note:All candidates must be able to work in our office in Lightwater for 2 days per week and eligible to work in the UK.To apply, you must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
