Cyber Security Engineer London / WfH to £95k

Cyber Security Engineer (IT Infrastructure Cloud) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a technologist Cyber Security Engineer? You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a global FinTech that has been consistently voted as one of the UKs top employers.

As a Cyber Security Engineer you'll join a small team responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining security platforms and assisting other engineering teams to build security into their products and platforms, acting as a technical SME. You'll take part in security product evaluations, create PoCs for security tools, design documentation and plan the implementation and integration of new security products with existing processes and platforms. You will also define and develop Cloud security working with associated teams to create and maintain the standards for secure usage of multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud platforms.

There's currently a remote interview / onboarding process as well as work from home during the current social distancing measures with a great deal of flexibility going forwards (2 days office, flexible start times); when you are in the office you'll be based in the City with an upbeat team environment, casual dress code and a range of facilities including roof terrace and break out areas.

Requirements:

You have experience in a similar IT / Cyber Security role

You have experience with cloud security on at least one platform, AWS preferred

You have a good knowledge of common security products and technologies

You have a good understanding of IT infrastructure: Windows / Linux OS, networking (TCP/IP), Data Centres, Virtualisation, Microsoft Active Directory

You have strong analysis and problem solving skills

You're collaborative and pragmatic with excellent written and verbal communication skills
