Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead London to £100k

Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead (SpringBoot microservices API Java 11) *Hybrid WFH*. Are you a skilled Java Developer seeking an opportunity to take a lead role and remain hands-on with technology working with a modern tech stack on Greenfield systems?

You could be joining a FinTech that's Open Banking solutions are helping to transform consumer banking, driving improvements for customers.

As a Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead you will remain hands-on with architecture and design whilst managing a cross functional team of software engineers and QAs to develop complex Open Banking software products. You'll be working with a modern tech stack encompassing Java 11, SpringBoot, microservices, AWS and Kubernetes, making technology choices and defining best practice as well as collaborating with product managers on the technical roadmap and strategy and recruiting new team members.

Requirements:                        

You have strong core Java architecture, design and development experience, Java 8 / Java 11

You have a good knowledge of the Spring framework including SpringBoot for microservices

You have experience building and deploying production level microservices using Docker (or Kubernetes / Helm)

You have experience with CI/CD and getting code into production quickly and efficiently

You have experience with TDD, Pair Programming and code reviews

You're collaborative with good communication skills and have the desire to lead a high performing team
