About the Role
Due to expansion and growth, a new opportunity is available in the Risk Management & Operations team to assist in risk management, monitoring trading servers and handling trading related operations.
This is a unique opportunity for a Risk Management & Operations professional, that will allow the successful applicant to work remotely from anywhere in the UK or EU. You will be supported with the tools and technology to enable you to provide exceptional service. You must be flexible, adaptable, independent, and available to work weekends and nights.
Reporting to the Risk & Operations Supervisor, you will work closely with the day and evening shift team members in Australia to perform operational tasks such as trade reconciliations, trade investigations and support and assist clients with technical enquiries. In addition, you will assist with risk management and risk analysis & reporting and research new products/services including Cryptocurrencies.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitor trade exposure to minimise client's trading risk Hedging reconciliation Create new or update existing trade-related parameters in the trading software/environment to reflect market conditions Monitor and investigate any unusual trading activities Undertake trade dispute investigations and conduct daily market analysis Attend to server outage issues when required Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Locate and define new process improvement opportunities and document them Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements Work closely with the IT team to create new or improve existing daily operations and risk management processes Stay informed about new tools, technology, trends in the industry The successful candidate will bring:
Available to work evenings and nights (Timezone: GMT +1 (9AM - 6PM or 3PM - 12AM) Capable of working autonomously, remotely, with a geographically dispersed team An Undergraduate Economics or Finance degree with a record of strong academic achievement A strong interest and understanding of the Forex industry Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient Business English speaker Advanced Mathematical capability and Excel skills High level accuracy and attention to detail Able to cope well under pressure, be agile and flexible Sceptical and fast thinking Previous experience working in a Risk Management or Operations team The Benefits
