Location: CoventryDuration: 6 - 12 monthsRate: Up to £268/day (PAYE only)

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Assisting the Health and Safety Manager in administering the HSE Management SystemActive member of the health and safety committeeCollating all accident records and reporting any accidents reportable under the RIDDOR regsIssuing UC/NM reports (Unsafe Condition/Near Miss Report) numbers and monitoring accident/incident databaseAssisting with HSE incident investigation reports as requiredMaintaining and monitoring PPE databasePreparation of Site Safety RegistersPreparation of new site packs (law poster, insurance, first aid kits, fire extinguishers etc.)Initial preparation of site inductions (PowerPoint presentations)Administration and monitoring of all site auditsAdministration and organisation of all external site auditsDistribution of all site audit reports to relevant persons both internal and externalLiaising with site Health and Safety Consultants and contractors, ensuring compliance on siteCollating site reports and inspections and updating records accordinglyIssuing and monitoring of all Control pf Contractor activitiesWriting and issuing of all safety bulletins/safety alertsPreparing COSHH/Task assessmentsUpdating of company health, safety and welfare policy and controlling policy revisionsDrafting/preparing toolbox talk PowerPoint presentationsControl/management/completion of DSE training and assessmentsMaintenance and monitoring of training matricesBooking HSE training as requiredMonitoring of health and safety legislation Experience/qualifications:NEBOSH Certificate or equivalentBackground in Manufacturing industry - ideally Aerospace or Automotive.Strong Admin and communication skillsStrong risk assessment writingMachine Safety AssessmentsHands on approach To apply please send your CV in the first instance.
