Our data team is responsible for helping us realise the value of data. This role entails... Sitting in the Data Innovation function, we have an opportunity for a Technical Lead to join our Data Product Team and be instrumental in delivering our data strategy. You'll be working in a technically innovative environment designing highly scalable and distributed data pipelines. Key responsibilities: Drive the teams' technical roadmap collaborating closely with our strategy leads and translating stories into code. Help teams design systems and pipelines that keep up with ITV's large datasets Ensure ownership from owning services to monitoring, maintenance and incidents management Supporting a strong engineering culture, orientated on technical innovation, and professional development Ensuring your team follows our engineering practices, by leading from the front Minimum Criteria: Experience building high-traffic systems and pipelines Expert knowledge of high level programming languages (scala, python, java...)
