Infrastructure Engineer - Hybrid- Up to £35,000Job DescriptionOur client is a Microsoft Gold Partner looking for an Infrastructure Engineer. An ideal candidate will have to be well experienced in IT, eager to expand their technical knowledge with a progressive and dynamic company. One of the core part of this role will be to provide consulting, solution implementation and ongoing technical support on a wide range of technologies to our managed SME clients and internal systems.

Role & ResponsibilitiesPrevious experiences working in a commercially aware yet customer sensitive capacity with Sales and Professional ServicesProvide professional technical support and direction to strategic customersAbility to build relationships and develop rapport internally and with external clientsDesign and installation of technical solutions associated with delivering applications both internally and to external clientsPre-Sales assistance to Sales personnel or direct to customersWorking flexible hours when necessary, and travel to external sites

Skills & QualificationsSubstantial knowledge and demonstrable skills in cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, Microsoft 365, Azure)Good working knowledge of Windows Server including Active Directory and associated technologiesPrevious experience supporting a VMware infrastructurePrevious experience in a 2nd/3rd Line Support roleUnderstanding of incident and problem managementAbility to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectivelyMicrosoft certification(Desirable)SQL knowledge - (Desirable)BenefitsHybrid PolicyCompany PensionCashback Healthcare SchemeLife AssuranceIncome Protection
