Role Title: Fusion Business AnalystLocation: London (remote with travel to office 1 day a week required)Duration: 6 MonthsRate: £520 PAYE Role PurposeHSBC Operations, Services and Technology (HOST) supporting the Global Businesses and Global Functions with a cost base of more than $12bn and an employee base of c.85k. HOST comprises of 6 Global Functions: COO Office, Corporate Real Estate, Global Procurement, HSBC Technology and Global Operations. HOST is about to embark on the next phase of its globalization and transformation programme. This will not only involve the implementation of a new organization model, which HOST Finance will need to support, but will also require a complete revamp of financial MI and a significant step-up in the quality and insight provided by the HOST Finance team.OverviewFusion is a major programme within HOST that will re-engineer all of the HOST Financial Management processes, ensuring that HOST is able to provide the businesses with the transparency and insight into their charges, but also to meet any future organizational changes and regulatory requirements.The Procurement Workstream Lead is responsible for delivering and ensuring that the Global Procurement Design is aligned to the requirements of Global Procurement, management of senior stakeholders and ensuring alignment of the procurement approach including P2P. The Procurement Workstream Lead will support the delivery of this global strategic change and will own the Procurement elements of the Global Template, the sign off of deliverables and the approval of any local variations to the Global Template Key responsibilities:Provide P2P SME knowledge and input to Fusion Programme Leadership and Senior StakeholdersEnsure Global Procurement Design alignment, understand and challenge any changes to global procurement design to ensure change is for regulatory/tax reasons onlyLead senior stakeholder discussions; obtain buy-in from and influence stakeholders for changes including requirements, scope, risk mitigation and contingency plansManagement of key Procurement stakeholders overseeing governance including milestone and deliverable sign offReview and challenge Fusion delivery plans at a release and project levelReview and challenge Fusion status updates at a release and project level.Act as the Point of Contact (POC) for the Fusion Core Solution team to review Solution design (global template), Design variations, CR requests & Design AuthorityEnsure Operational Readiness acting as the Procurement POC for the Centres of Excellence, approval of FTE / Team sizing requirements and ReportingEnsure Business Readiness for Procurement Transformation and Buyer readiness as well as Senior Procurement stakeholdersAct as a POC for Tradeshift contract set-up and drive delivery discussionsEnsure suppliers are enabled on Tradeshift, providing communications, and engagement touchpointsProvide oversight of procurement content to be configured in FusionAct as a POC for (procurement and supplier) data migrationWork with the wider programme team and workstream on issue management and resolutionActs as a POC for RTB Procurement Lead for Production issues Knowledge & Experience / QualificationDelivered Global Procurement Transformation projectsStrong understanding of procurement processes - particularly P2P + 5 years' experienceStrong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) processes or experience working with AP teams +5 years' experienceGood understanding of 3rd party contracts and the management of 3rd party relationshipsExperience working with Supplier / Vendor Relationship Management teams and other Procurement teamsExperience of working in large, complex, multi-functional programmes is essentialExperience of working with Oracle P2P modules (or other ERP systems), preferably Oracle Fusion + 3 yearsExperience of working in a Procurement function (or on Procurement-related projects) is desirableExperience of building relationships with technology and design teamsExcellent influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills to all levelsEffective planning and project management skillsAbility to analyze qualitative and quantitative dataStrong written and oral communication skillsCreative approach to problem solving and outcome focused approachAbility to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing prioritiesThe ability to work with a diverse and geographically dispersed business teamsA highly motivated and pro-active self-starter with a positive attitudeFlexible worker who demonstrates adaptability Technical ExperienceAbility to use Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPointAbility to use process mapping tools e.g., Visio
