Lead Software Developer London to £105k

Lead Software Developer (TDD Ruby on Rails). Hugely successful FinTech that is experiencing rapid growth is seeking a Lead Software Developer to join their team. You will be required to go into the company's amazing offices 10 days a month where you can enjoy a modern and spacious working environment with perks including; yoga classes, massage service, pool tables, games consoles, a roof terrace, a canteen and more!

As a Lead Software Developer you will lead and manage an Agile team of 6 - 8 engineers. You will regularly pair programme with other engineers, mentor and guide your direct reports and take part in code reviews to solve complex technical problems. You will still be able to remain hands-on within this role alongside your management and leadership duties.

The company is based in London however, you will only need to be in 10 days a month.

Requirements:

Very good knowledge of Ruby and experience using Ruby on Rails

Strong knowledge of TDD and clean coding with experience using testing tools

Good knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals

Previously management or mentored a team

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
