Your new role Education and Awareness Manager The role of the Education and Awareness Manager is to contribute to the development and implementation of National Highways education and awareness strategy. They will help deliver a high-quality security engagement programme that effectively supports all colleagues in their development of security knowledge, skills and behaviours through targeted and tailored initiatives Please note successful candidates must be SC Cleared or be willing to go through full clearance checks at point of onboarding What you'll be leading on Lead the development of National Highways security education and awareness programme ensuring it is relevant to colleagues across the business and reflects the current external environment. Lead activities to deliver and assure security education and awareness programmes. Ensure the education and awareness programme engages employees and contractors by using interactive and innovative learning experiences. Promote security-conscious behaviours and good security risk management practices within the ITD and the wider organisation. Create and manage content for security awareness e.g. phishing education programmes, security ambassador network, SharePoint sites, engagement campaigns, general awareness material and training for high risk groups e.g. developers. Demonstrate training and awareness effectiveness by establishing a metrics programme working closely with the data insights team. This will include surveys, feedback, participant tracking, dashboards, executive summaries and presentations. To be successful you will be/be able to demonstrate Experience of delivering security awareness to varied audiences and multiple cultures Education and Awareness related certifications HE JD Template v:17/09/18 Knowledge and experience in managing Information Security in various business functions Knowledge and experience of working with a variety of Information Security education and awareness tools.
