Scala Developer London to £105k

Scala Developer (Linux Akka SQL). Would you like to utilise and develop your Scala Developer skills within a successful FinTech? You could be working alongside a friendly, supportive and talented team where you'll be able to share your ideas and make your mark on a company that works with financial institutions globally.

As a Scala Developer you will be leading a team of 2 - 5 engineers. You will remain hands-on, designing and developing backend functionality for a collateral management and visualisation product, working across all technical aspects of systems. You'll be collaborating with business stakeholders to design new features and services, integrate new financial institutions and resolve any issues.

Based in the heart of London you will join a friendly and supportive team within a technology driven company where you will be able to gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and develop your understanding of financial trading systems. You'll have work from home flexibility allowing you to work from home up to 2 days a week. 

Requirements:

Strong Scala development skills

You'll be a Senior Scala Developer looking to move into a lead position or have lead experience already

Good knowledge of SQL and relational data modelling

You'll have a good knowledge of Linux / UNIX

Ideally you will have experience with some of the following: Akka, Kafka, Docker and MySQL

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
