Technical Operations Engineer London / WfH to £75k

Technical Operations Engineer (Linux Networking Cloud) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a technologist with a range of experience across Linux SysAdmin, Networking, Virtualisation and Cloud based services?

You could be progressing your career at one of the country's leading PropTech companies that have revolutionised the way we find property for rent and sale and working on apps that are used by millions on a daily basis.

You'll identify areas for improvement via task automation; current projects include designing and building a cloud platform for microservices and data analytics workloads, migration to containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes and implementation of a new VMWare virtualisation strategy - there'll be plenty of challenges and learning opportunities.

There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; in the coming months you'll join colleagues in the London office for three days a weeks with the other two working remotely. You'll be joining a diverse team environment with a range of perks, training and career development opportunities.

Requirements:

You have a strong Linux Systems Administration background

You have a broad knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Networking, Virtualisation (VMWare)

You have a good working knowledge of Cloud based systems - they use GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and you'll receive training on this
