Mechanical Design Engineer - Structural / Skid Design Stoke-on-Trent£40,000 - £50,000 + Training + Progression + Healthcare + BenefitsAn excellent opportunity for a someone looking for a varied design role, where you will work on Skid modules and modular towers for a wide range of industries, while working for a global leading engineering company that can offer exciting and varied work with further career opportunities.This company are a global powerhouse in their field. Designing and manufacturing skid mounted process equipment that is supplied into the oil and gas, petrochemical, water, nuclear industries they are always expanding their operations, and now due to this expansion they require a Mechanical Design Engineer to be based on site at Stoke-on-Trent.In this role you will be working closely with the process, piping and project teams to design skids and modular towers that will house the packaged process equipment for a range of clients. Working with a range of design packages you will mainly be utilising Staad Pro amongst others.The ideal candidate will hold a HND or higher in Mechanical Engineering, and have worked in structural design for skid mounted equipment or similar. Ideally you will have extensive knowledge of Staad Pro, but other design packages will be considered.This is a fantastic chance to join a leading organisation that can offer you a technically interesting position, in a company that is at the forefront of technology and where you can work for one of the biggest players in the industry.The Role:

*Mechanical Design of Skids / Skid Modules / Modular Towers / Structural Towers

*Working with the Process, piping and projects teams

*Project specifications, design codes, client instructions and design reviews

*Using Staad Pro, and other design packagesThe Person:

*HND or higher in Mechanical Engineering

*Design or skid mounted equipment or similar

*Ideally Staad Pro, but other packages considered.
