Job title - Wholesale Senior Business AnalystLocation - London, Canary Wharf/Remote Rate - Up to £550 PAYE or Umbrella £705 day rate Start date - ASAPContract - 12 months Our financial services client is currently seeking a Wholesale Senior Business Analyst to join their team in the London office/remote working, this contract will initially be for 12 months.As part of the Latitude programme a new workstream is being initiated to replat form the LGD calculation framework (Wholesale Credit Risk) currently used in Asia and extend that globally. As part of this exercise the target state solutions, both operationally and architecturally, required to meet a Global rollout need to be determined. The objective of the job holder is to assist in analyzing the current state business and system processes and data to determine current state, from this formulate options for a proposed target state, syndicate globally and gain agreement, followed by assisting in the implementation of the agreed solution.Expertise is required aroundDeep understanding of Wholesale Credit Risk specifically LGD calculations and upstream inputs e.g., Collateral and Exposure calculationsKnowledge of Basel III and upcoming reforms impacting calculation and reporting of LGD and EADExcellent analysis (data and calculation) and solution development skillsGood presentation and interpersonal skillsHold requirements workshops, determine, and document target state requirementsSignificant experience of working with a combination of IT teams globally during requirements, development, and testingKnowledge & Experience / Qualifications Subject Matter ExpertiseGood understanding of Credit RiskLGD and EAD ModelsRWA CalculationControls & ReportingExcellent Product KnowledgeLendingTrade and Receivables FinanceTreasury ProductsTraded Products (Derivatives, Repos)Knowledge Change managementExcellent understanding of the programme / project lifecycleExcellent understanding of The Bank's Business Transformation Frameworks and best practice techniques.A thorough understanding of the purpose, value, culture, and fundamentals of The Bank's TransformationStrong understanding of banking / The Bank and understanding of how change drives benefits for The Bank's, its customers, and other stakeholdersExpert knowledge of the Groups modelling approach and system architecture, data flows and related processesBusiness re-engineering knowledgeAdvanced business analysis, requirements gathering and design techniquesExperience of complex global implementationsGlobal Risk AnalyticsA thorough understanding of the Model development lifecycleAn awareness of modelling tools, techniques, and systemsRisk system architecture across Risk sub-functions - where relevant.Data management approaches and technologyUnderstanding of the regulatory framework within which The Bank operates globally.ExperienceProven track record as an outstanding analyst or consultantOverall financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertiseExtensive experience of using multiple analysis techniques in a change environment, with a mix of business, operations and technology focused projects.Experience of business case development and a sound understanding of how design enablers underpin business benefitsStrong experience of delivering change into different audiences and managing implementation in bankingExcellent communication, inter-personal and negotiating skillsExcellent decision making and problem solving abilityAdvanced judgmental skills to identify and resolve problemsExperience of managing teams and resources located remotelyAbility to motivate and lead people, employing appropriate management stylesProven ability to work across regions whilst maintaining a global perspectiveProven ability to work with senior stakeholders and business sponsorsIf you are relevant or interested, please contact me at
