Lead Python Developer London / Remote to £70k

Lead Python Developer / Full Stack Developer (JavaScript CSS HTML Azure) *Remote*. Are you a talented and personable Python developer with an interest in music? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for you to join a non-profit music organisation that work to protect artists' intellectual property and promote English music globally. A good work life balance is very important to the company and therefore you will only be expected to go into the office 1 or 2 days a month, allowing you to work remotely from anywhere within the UK. As a Lead Python Developer you will be joining a small business of 40 employees. You'll be responsible for managing and developing in-house projects and will work across the full tech stack on software applications and building data feeds (with a focus on backend development) utilising Python, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. You will also be responsible for technically leading a cross functional development team; mentoring the team, providing technical direction and acting as the go to subject matter expert.

The company is based in central London however, you will only need to go to the office 1 or 2 days a month. Your core working hours are between 10 and 4 although this can be flexible.

Requirements:

Very good backend Python development skills with software design, development and security experience

Experience with front end technologies including JavaScript, HTML and CSS

Very personable individual with excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills

Ideally you'll have a passion for music and the music industry

Ideally degree educated in Computer Science or similar
