PHP Developer / Technical Lead Remote UK to £90k

PHP Developer / Technical Lead (PHP Symphony) *Hybrid WfH / Remote UK*. Do you have expertise with backend PHP?

You could be progressing your career at a well backed start-up software house that's founders have a reputation for technical entrepreneurship and success. This is an opportunity to take a lead role and build a team around you.

As a PHP Developer / Technical Lead you will architect, design and develop Greenfield features for a new Cybersecurity learning and assessment platform. You'll have technical ownership, supported by the CTO and will quickly help to build a cross functional Agile team around you; you'll remain hands-on with architecture and design but progressively move towards more of a management focussed position in the long term.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process, following that you can work remotely / from home in the UK the majority of the time, with the caveat that you'll meet up with the team once a quarter in the Cotswolds based office and for Summer and Christmas socials.

Requirements:

You have a strong software development background with a focus on backend PHP and Symphony

You're comfortable in a lead role, making technology choices and liaising with senior stakeholders

You're excited by the opportunity of building a team and progressing your career with leadership responsibilities

You have a good understanding of the full technology stack: they use JavaScript and React on the front end and AWS for Cloud based SaaS products

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
