Excellent opportunity for a software developer with strong Clojure skills and leadership experience to join one of the fastest growing start-ups in the UK, in a highly varied, interesting and versatile role where you can stamp your mark on an expanding company and department.

This SaaS tech start-up is in a financially strong position having successfully gone through several stages of funding and are on-boarding new clients every week. Through growth they are looking for a Head of Development to lead and grow a new department.

In this role you will focus on management, processes and reporting, while also looking at technologies and approaches that can be used to speed up development and increase reliability. This role is a great step for someone who does not want to spend the majority of their time developing and wants to progress into leadership positions. This company is based out of London, England, however have staff working remotely across the UK, USA & Europe, so the right candidate can be based anywhere.

The ideal candidate will be Lead Software Developer with strong Web Development (front end and back end) and Clojure/ClojureScript skills. Previous leadership, team lead, management, or head of development experience is beneficial. You can work in the London office, a hybrid of WFH and office, or remotely.
