My client is an international bank in the Banking industry.Client DetailsMy client - a London based, international bank in the Banking industry is looking for a Chat Bot Developer - C#/Python/API Ecosystems to aid efforts aligned to the development and execution of the internal adoption program and the new client offering development.DescriptionThe successful candidate for the Chat Bot Developer - C#/Python/API Ecosystems contract role based in London will fulfil the following responsibilities - Assist with the design of workflow automated solutions, interconnecting the bank application systems through APIs and bots in accordance with the standard platform design principle and conventionsSupport full lifecycle implementation of Bot projects (building prototypes, validating scenarios, develop ChatBots and framework infrastructure for deployment at scale)Work with the GM Lab to build and implement NLP, AI & Machine Learning, Analytics solutions through the Bot Framework to expandMaintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies/product/trends related to ChatBots and corresponding architecture solutionsContribute to the global bot governance framework. Maintain good documentation on bots developed and produce any user manuals as required. Help to create and maintain a library of education collateralProfileTo be considered for the C#/Python/API Ecosystems 6-month contract role the candidate must present evidence of the following -A long track record in software development, ideally with a recent focus on trading systemsGeneral understanding of finance and structured investment products, particularly from a sales perspectivePassionate about automating all things and understand the importance of being a customer advocateA proven track record in client-server infrastructure, UI, backend APIs, workflow execution, restful/JSON APIs, e.g., using WebAPIA proven track record in high scalability, availability, resiliency, multithreaded architectures and optimised UI's, relational databases and SQL knowledgeProficient in C#, Python and a good knowledge of API ecosystemsPrevious work with real time messaging protocols, protobufs, etc.Ability to write unit tests within standard frameworksAbility and willingness to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-changing environment, with a strong interest in continuous improvement and deliveryExcellent knowledge of programming best practices, design patterns etc.Understand fundamental design principles behind a scalable applicationAdvanced knowledge of development tools to troubleshoot web-based applicationsStrong problem-solving skills and good understanding of the best practices and importance of Test Automation processesA demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple demands and shifting prioritiesStrong Planning & Priority Setting - monitors progress and adapts plans according to changes in circumstancesExcellent oral and written communication skills; with a client service focus and strong influencing skills to foster adoptionDesirable -An ability to design performant software and an understanding of application performance profiling.Previous work with ChatBot or Virtual Assistant, Data Analytics and visualization solutions (Tableau, Power BI)Worked with CI/CD tools: Jenkins Pipeline and plugins, Artifactory, Jenkins, AnsibleFamiliarity with Symphony or other enterprise social software preferred but not required.Job OfferThe day rate for this contract role is between £700 and £750 per day INSIDE IR35
