Lead Software Developer in Test London to £95k

Lead Software Developer in Test / Principle QA Engineer (C# .Net Web Testing) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a highly skilled C# Developer with test automation experience? Their software is used by hundreds of clients across 29 countries, accepted by 500+ trading institutions worldwide.

As a Lead Software Developer in Test you will drive the use of test automation and manage a small team of Test Developers. You'll be a hands-on servant-leader, taking ownership of creating and maintaining automated test frameworks and helping to maintain continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines. You'll take responsibility for the team's product and roadmap; provide technical leadership, mentoring and line management, coaching testers and developers on test automation and non-functional testing.

There is a remote interview / onboarding process with flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week going forward; they have invested in a refurb of the City based offices to ensure they meet new health and safety compliance and offer a collaborative, modern working environment with all the latest kit.

Requirements:

You have experience in developing and testing software using Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL Server, Windows), coding skills required, C# preferred (will consider Java)

You have a good understanding of practical networking concepts (TCP/IP) and virtualised environments

You're an advocate of Agile development methodologies

You have excellent communication skills, keen to lead a team and collaborate with others to share knowledge and improve practice

Ideally you will have experience in a similar financial services / regulated environment
