Great opportunity for an Automation Consultant to join a successful and fast-growing company who offer quality training opportunities with IBM automation products such as WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and Business Process Manager (IBM BPM), progression and the chance to gain certification.

They are a small team based in Reading looking to further expand their network and customer base in which they need your expertise help for! They deliver technology systems to their customers, providing expertise solutions to extend their efficiencies to customers and partners.

In the role you will need to build solutions using the associated (Linux Scripting, Security) and embedded technologies (XML, Web Security protocols, Java, Javascript, BPMN, ESQL), presenting these to customer audiences. You will also be involved with mentoring staff, creating informational materials and providing support with pre-sales and the consulting team.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a good knowledge of IBM Business Process Management (BPM), more recently known as Business Automation Workflow (BAW). Experience with a Linux Scripting language and embedded technologies such as XML and Java would be very beneficial.

The Role:

- Provide specialist skills to development teams in support of their Integration/Automation projects

- Meeting with customers and travelling to customer sites

- Apply information to problem solving

- Provide thought leadership to the consulting team

The Person:

- Knowledge of IBM BPM or BAW

- Knowledge of Linux, Java and XSLT or the equivalent

- Ability to make presentations and present to clients

- General understanding of IBM products and development
