Due to our commitment of delivering high-level solutions to our expanding range of clients, we are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join the technical team.We have Offices in Newbury and Manchester as well as a team of field engineers working out of London and you could become part of this dynamic team, supporting a range of high-end Hotels and Corporate clients.About the role:We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join the technical team, working from the Manchester office. We need a team player, with a good range of infrastructure skills for this internal role, and seek someone who has the experience of working on a busy and buzzing technical helpdesk.This opportunity is perfect for the person looking to gain more experience and training in their 1st/2nd Line role or to prove themselves as a dedicated 3rd Line Engineer, within a fast-growing, yet established technology focused MSP.About you:ExperienceA proven history of being able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across a client base which specialises in Small Business and/or Hospitality via remote connectivity, telephone, or emailUsing PSA/RMM tools such as Autotask, AEM and IT Glue to provide enhanced support services to all clientsExperience in remote diagnostics along with analysis and monitoringPossesses good verbal and typed communication skillsExcellent Customer Service abilitiesFamiliar working as a core member of a technical teamThrive on understanding and being aware of new and current technologiesIT related degree or relevant qualifications highly desirableTechnical requirementsKnowledge of Microsoft cloud solutions including MS 365 and Azure suitesProven experience with Desktop & Server solutions across the Microsoft stackExperience working with Security & Network infrastructure preferredOverall appreciation of client system security, requirements and proven experience with relevant software and hardware solutionsOverview ISP solutions and connectivity requirementsWi-Fi solution experience & knowledge, with Ruckus, Meraki, Aruba etc.Experience of hospitality products such as PMS and POS systems and associated interfaces is beneficialUnderstanding around core IT compliance for GDPR & PCI/DSS etc.Candidates with Microsoft Certifications would prove advantageousPersonal Attributes:Amazing soft skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you're going to be dealing directly with effected users so need to be able to explain complex technical issues to non-technical clientsAbility to research new products and information around technical solutions that provide answers and solve problemsSelf-Motivated and disciplined, with the ability to prioritise and execute tasks under pressureA collaborative approach is always encouraged - we try to make it a fun and productive place to work, where everyone can always learn new things.
