Business Analyst - Finance Systems (Dynamics Great Plains / General Ledger)Birmingham
£65,000 per annum
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a reputable and rapidly expanding business based in Birmingham.
This role would be responsible for collaborating with the Product Managers, System Owners and Business Users to capture requirements and accurately translate them into specifications. This will aid design, coding and testing of the complex software/ data warehouse and / or applications within the organisation.
Working within an Agile environment will get to work across a broad range of concurrent projects relating to bespoke & 3rd part systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* To work with business users Product Managers to accurately capture all stakeholder requests, translating them into system specifications
* Work with Developers to ensure that they work in accordance to business specifications
* Provide guidance to stakeholders on effective & efficient approaches to achieving project goals
* Liaise with other project & program areas
* Lead analyses, mapping and communication of current & future state business processes
* Collaborate with IT management to won processes
Key Skills & Experience
* Experienced in a technical Business Analyst position. In-depth knowledge of business analysis processes & techniques
* Advanced knowledge of Software Development principles
* Knowledge of Agile Software Dev processes
* Excellent Stakeholder management skills
* Experienced working between technical specialists and the wider business
Desirable:
* Experience / knowledge of Great Plains Accounting System or equivalent software
* Knowledge of IRIS Underwriting system
* Knowledge of Dynamics General Ledger
