Software Developer London to £80k
Software Developer (Rust C++ Kotlin Scala AWS). Opportunity for a bright, tech enthusiast to utilise their Software Developer skills within a friendly and supportive software house that is passionate about developing their employees. The company are currently going through a transformation to keep up with the modern software world; adopting modern tools and technologies (such as Ansible and Docker), hosting on AWS and rebuilding their legacy platform from C++ to Rust. You'll take on a key role rebuilding this platform from scratch, making it more scalable, accessible and resilient.
Based in a fantastic central London location, you will join a friendly team who enjoy collaboration and knowledge sharing. Requirements:
Ideally you'll have commercial Rust experience or alternatively C++ or a functional language (Kotlin, Scala etc.) but must be happy to use Rust going forward
A true tech enthusiast who keeps up to date with the latest technologies and attends conferences / tech talks
Knowledge of Design Patterns and SOLID principles
Familiar with Cloud technologies (AWS)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
