Job Purpose and primary objectives:

1.         Development & Customization Experience in for IBM Sterling Order management, IBM Call centre for Commerce

2.         Experience in below IBM Sterling Concepts
a.       Build and Deploy
b.       CDT
c.       Database Extensions
d.       Exposing web services
e.       SDF customizations
f.        JMS and File based integrations
g.       New screen development and extension of existing screens in CCC

3.         Experience in Java SE, Java XML Technologies and in  XML/XSLT/Xpath/Xquery/SQL concepts
4.         Client management and good communication Skills
5.         Experience and knowledge of tools like Eclipse ,GIT and other monitoring tools like Jira,Jenkins etc

 
Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):                

The purpose of this role is to be a hands-on engineer mentor and coach lesser experienced engineers, helping to deliver the product vision that aligns to an overall technology strategy and supporting the engineering department as a whole in activities such as improving ways of working, community building and recruitment.

Our product is deployed to millions of users and so an understanding of how to build high-quality, reliable, thoroughly tested and performant software, in compliance with best practice coding standards and technical design, is a key part to the role. We want someone with an innovation mindset with excellent awareness of new technologies and a solid grasp on the full engineering stack that thrives in a collaborative product development and engineering environment

Groom stories and develop & guide team to develop

2              Responsible for
a.             Sprint commitments
b.             Quality of delivery (self and review)
c.             fixing production severity issues with quick turnaround
d.             fixing performance issues

3              Part of technology talent development

Key Skills/Knowledge:

1.      Improve productivity by designing & developing full-featured IBM OMS product

2.       General knowledge of Agile and SDLC software development practices and technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plans, etc.)

1.      Agile experience
2.      Experience in containers and ansible scripts
5.       Experience in databases like oracle & sql
6.       Experience in Retail and ecommerce is a plus
7.       Worked in Dev-Ops projects and understanding of its concepts
