The Roles

IHS Towers is seeking two Senior Specialists to coordinate process management across our Record to Report (R2R) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) functions respectively.

As a Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating process management and process optimization activities across the IHS Group, working collaboratively with the Global Process Owner, the Global Process Management lead, and process operators in each country that IHS operates. This role is pivotal in supporting the Global Process Owner to drive standardization, simplification, and automation, ensuring that relevant stakeholders are consulted and trained to operate process changes. You will ensure effective collaboration between market teams and the centralized process management function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting global process owners and business process operators to optimise processes through automation, simplification, and standardization.
  • Creating current and future state business process documentation including process maps and standard operating procedures.
  • Run workshops with business process operators to capture knowledge and create SOPs.
  • Support the development of to-be processes - incorporating best practice principles.
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities for all relevant process teams (within Shared Service Centre, Business Units, and Group functions).
  • Devise ongoing evaluation strategies to monitor process performance and determine the need for improvements.
  • Developing metrics for measuring the success of process improvement projects and communicating those results to leadership.
  • Work with Business Units, Shared Services, IT, and other relevant workstreams/departments to drive process standardization and effectiveness across IHS.
  • Build strong working relationships with Finance, SSC, and other stakeholders across IHS.
  • Co-ordinate activities with IT to ensure the delivery of process improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • An expert in R2R or EAM with a good understanding of related and/or upstream business processes.
  • Substantial work experience in a mid/large company or as a management consultant on business transformation projects.
  • Ability to compile, analyze and present data, findings and progress in a concise manner.
  • Advanced use of process modelling solutions, and MS Office suite of products.
  • Collaborative, team player with positive attitude, and a flexible attitude to work.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Proven experience of communicating and engaging at a senior level across multiple departments (including Legal, Commercial, and Finance).
