Your role in a nutshell

As the SQL Analyst ( 6 month FTC) within the Operations Team of our The Body Click here to contact this recruiter Channel, you will be responsible for conducting detailed performance analysis of previous promotional activities, incentive,s and all relevant marketing activities within the TBSAH channel globally, using SQL.

You will be responsible for the forecasting/modelling of future promotions, stock requirements, and incentive performances and making relevant recommendations to drive the channel forward with a view to profitability and performance

You will need to work with the field and marketing teams across the markets to deliver analysis, reports, and recommendations for the field to support the delivery of all the business KPIs.

More about the role

Provide detailed analysis and recommendations regularly related to :

Customer and Host Event-based promotional activity (and any ad-hoc promotions as requested) globally and provide a suite of reports and recommendations

All TBSAH Consultant incentive plans, ad-hoc promotions and marketing programmes (CRM, PWR, MTE)

New product launches and tracking, existing Products and category performance with a focus on margins performance

Forecasting and Modelling:

Stock and sales analysis - input into the process of stock forecasting for promotions, NPD and Gifting for the key periods. This should include analyzing and OOS potential lines

Provide TBSAH management team and market Finance teams with financial modelling, cost analysis and full results forecasting related to any planned future Consultant incentive activity, recruitment drivers or on the Consultant Carer Plan. 

Support the Global Head of Operations in the monthly MI and quarterly BME buys by providing data on past performance to help inform numbers required

Analyse recruitment initiatives and provide feedback on successes, learnings and forecasting for future initiatives to inform decisions on stock buy and budgets.

Analyse the negative margin report provided by Finance and provide feedback and recommendations on a weekly basis to the Global Head of Operations and Global Operations & Trading Manager

Provide in-depth analysis of Christmas trading performance to highlight sales opportunities, performance of best selling core products and new lines providing recommendations to the Global Head of Operations and Global Operations & Trading Manager that can inform key business decisions.

What we look for

Experience:

  • Proved SQL experience in a similar role
  • Expertise working for an event driven retailer with frequent changes of promotional mechanic
  • Expertise working on incentive-based plans for self-employed Consultants/Agents
  • Experience in complex business analysis and forecasting
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic / SL / Microsoft Report Writer
  • Previous experience in direct selling / Career Plans - an advantage
  • Experience working cross-functionally
  • Experience working in Customer Services
  • Previous experience working in the Beauty Industry is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Business Analyst / SQL forecasting role experience
  • Appropriate experience and/or qualification in Business Administration
