DevOps Engineer - With a specialism in Automation Tools

We are currently looking for a DevOps Tools & Automation Specialist to join a leading, innovative, and prestigious organisation. The working options for this role are completely flexible. As a DevOps Tools & Automation Specialist, you will assist in the management and Administration of our Monitoring and Automation platforms to support our service offering to our customers. You will take the role of an SME in automation, monitoring, and systems management. Responsible for technical development of the platforms and resolving day-to-day issues. You must be flexible and willing to sometimes work outside of core hours.

KEY SKILLS

Experience in SOME of the following (please note not all areas are essential):

? Experience working with monitoring solutions

? Experience of a Systems Management toolsets

? Experience working with automation solutions

? Understanding of Windows, Unix, Linux Operating systems

? Ability to develop code in Python or PowerShell

? Understanding CICD Principles

? Experience in developing infrastructure as Code solutions

? Experience of Nagios based monitoring systems

? Experience in Automation Orchestration systems

? Experience in working to Agile principles

Knowledge or Experience of some of the following technologies ideally:

? Database

? Containerisation

? Virtualisation

? Cloud Platforms

? Security Tooling

? Network {SNMP}
