My client urgently requires a WebMethods Developer to join an on-going programme of work with one of their key customers.

START: ASAP

DURATION: 6 MONTHS

CLEARANCE: SC

RATE: OPEN TO DISCUSS (INSIDE IR35)

LOCATION: REMOTE + OCCASIONAL TRAVEL TO HAMPSHIRE

We are looking for an API Designer/Integration Developer with Software AG webMethods experience. The following experience and skills are required:

Key responsibilities (webMethods development & Integration)

*Design and develop integration solutions using SoftwareAG webMethods product suite

*Implement design patterns and industry best practices to develop secure robust integration applications

*Design systems and programs to meet complex business needs.

*Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded.

*Ensures programs meet standards and technical specifications; performs technical analysis and component delivery.

*Gathers information from existing systems, analyses program and time requirements.

*Develop unit tests using automated testing tools.

*Provide input into high level solution architecture.

*Provide input for capacity planning and sizing of various ESB components.

*Implement code management best practices using subversion and GitLab

Key Skills required

*webMethods ESB Development- Integration Server, MWS, B2B integration

*Implementing SOAP, REST services in webMethods

*API Gateway development

*webMethods ATMFT development

*webMethods Product installation (desirable)

*webMethods Product administration (desirable)

*NODE.JS, Java, Python, shell scripting

Experience required - essential

*2+ years of API Development

*Knowledge of API management

*Identity Management and Authorisation in webMethods - Oauth2.0 & API keys

*Services Architecture/Lifecycle, (generic)

*JSON/Swagger API definition formats

Experience required - desirable

*Containers/Orchestration - Docker, Kubernetes

*Development tools - Jdeveloper, Dredd, GitHub etc.

*Test tools - Zap, Junit/Nunit

*Build tools - Apache Ant/Maven, FlexDeploy, Anchore, SonarQube
