You will be responsible for driving forward the delivery of the Data Strategy incorporating data integrity, data hosting and data ownership to allow delivery of accurate data and self-service reporting. Furthermore you will develop data analytics and advance data use techniques to deliver meaningful and proactive business information. Managing an existing team of specialists, you will be pivotal in the delivery of the Data Strategy across the business working with the business to identify, specify and deliver data integrity and self-service reporting to the organisation through use of modern packages. Key Responsibilities: Triaging, prioritising and delivering all reporting requests to the Business Intelligence and Reporting Team for any business software in order to set and achieve deadlines for product delivery.Lead and manage a team of data and reporting specialists covering all business systems to ensure understanding and delivery of tasksResource planning and procurement when required of external resources to deliver specific data and reporting requirementsOwnership for KPI's and metrics to measure that the reporting team delivers the requirements on time and market readyDevelop strong relationships and collaborative working with internal and external stakeholders to support and assist in delivery by listening to requirementsManage relationships with external software suppliers to ensure any internal data and reporting requirements are validated by the supplier while maintaining and developing system documentationDrive the adoption of reporting and data best practices, tools and standards bringing engineering into the solution design and analysis activities, and driving "can do" "yes if…" behavioursSetting an overall strategy and workplan for the team, developing resources and culture and ensuring optimal deployment of resources to meet requirementsProvide technical expertise, guidance and direction to solution design and delivery in order to meet organisation requirements on quality and timescalesShaping an approach for governance and deployment of Power BI to the wider organisationEnsuring all data and reporting meets the requirements of the Data Strategy and enhances user experiencesDeveloping and implementing policies and procedures for effective data handling and managementStreamlining data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to metrics Key Skills & Experience:Familiarity with modern data visualisation and analytics toolsThe ability to produce informative, relevant, and user-friendly reportsKnowledge of streamlining data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to metricsProven experience in supporting and implementing complex data management systems and maintaining high-standard data security practicesTrack record of developing and supporting team members to deliver to deadlinesExperience of working with senior stakeholders.Extensive experience of Microsoft BI products, data architecture and data warehousesHighly organised, delivery and service focused, able to manage multiple priorities.Has relentlessly high standards (is never satisfied with the status quo), resolution and results driven.
