We are embarking on a large project to progress data policies, increase system understanding and centralise KPI reporting. Embarking on a large project to progress data policies, increase system understanding and centralise KPI reporting.DescriptionLead on documenting and understanding the existing SQL DatabasesDevelop and Implement group wide Data Governance policiesAct as day-to-day Data/BI System support to all departmentSupport Manage in seeking ways to automate and standardise reporting across the GroupBuild robust Reporting Suites that measure financial and operational performance (Power BI)Partner Department Heads and Finance BPs, to understand performance drivers and standardise KPIsSupport Manager in prioritising System Development requestsAct as the day-to-day 'Data/Insight' support for Bailey UK teamsWork with Manager to develop and introduce Data Governance policiesDocument and develop understanding of existing system SQL databases and tablesWork with Manager and Heads of departments to develop a data dictionaryDevelop "one source of the truth" reporting capability for the whole business, including of assessment of potential system requirementsProvide commercial and finance reporting support for Product and Pricing projectsFacilitate S&OP processProactively supporting:Quarterly Sales & COGs Forecasting/Budgeting, including scenario planningProduct Development & Strategy processes, providing financial and non-financial inputS&OP process - Partner sales and product teams to aid planning and decision makingProfilePower BI / DAX Skills an advantage - although experience with other BI tools attractiveExperience of IT Transformation Projects such as BI/ERP roll-outs an advantageStrong Data Governance through experience or qualificationAdvanced SQL SkillsStrong data analysis skills and ability to interrogate and manipulate dataAbility to build reports from multiple sourcesStrong communication skillsStrong Excel modelling skillsSelf-sufficient Hands-on nature/"roll sleeves up"PersonableJob OfferBI Reporting Analyst role will provide a fantastic hands on opportunity within the heart of a huge company wide Data Project. - up to £45k- Bristol office (hybrid)
