Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to take a leading role within a busy product design department, in a technically interesting role, where you'll manage projects through from concept through to manufacturing.

They are now seeking a Mechanical/Product Design Engineer to take a leading role within their Product Design department.

In this role, you will create the mechanical and industrial designs required for their sophisticated electronic hardware and PCB test products. You'll manage the designs from concept to initial prototype design and see this being implemented into manufacturing. This is a role in which you'll act as a key decision maker within the Product Design department.

THE ROLE:

*Design of mechanical aspect of electronic test products

*Managing projects from concept to completion

*Designing first prototype designs

*Implementing designs into a Production environment

*2D/3D product design drawings

*Based in their Linlithgow HQ - hybrid working model

THE PERSON:

*Experience within Mechanical Design/Product Design

*Thermal Design experience

*Experience with CAD Software - Alibre, Creo, Solidworks etc.

*Sheet Metal and Machine Part Design

*Knowldege of the mechanical aspects of PCBs

*HNC or Degree Educated in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design
