About the role
Acting as a senior strategic technology business partner, working closely with our Medical directorate, you'll stimulate, shape and support the demand for Technology products, services and change initiatives.

A technology professional you'll work with our Medical and Technology teams, as well as others, across the BHF to shape and support demand for technology. You'll work closely with senior level stakeholders in the organisation, acting as an influential, persuasive and engaging expert and will liaise with relevant resources in planning and delivery teams to facilitate the creation of idea documents, business cases and value plans; ensuring value optimisation and communications and enabling continuous improvement in all areas and people. 

This role is not only about managing delivery resources, but about setting a strategic direction with our senior leaders. You'll own executive level relationships between the Technology and the Medical Directorates, acting as the single point of focus to maximise the value of technology products, services and change initiatives. You'll drive collaboration between Medical and Technology that are focused on delivering digital content, to ensure a joined up and consistent end to end approach.    You'll have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the BHF Strategy to 2030, other directorate strategies and the BHF Technology Strategy and how they interact, working with senior leaders to support and drive the planned delivery of all three.   Please note this is an 18 month fixed term contract. This is a dual location role, with your working time split between your home and our London Office. This will allow us to unlock our best work for our cause, blending the best of home and office working.     About you

A technology professional you'll have knowledge of the technology landscape, including the commercial and public sectors. You'll ideally be educated to degree or post graduate level in a computer, business or science related discipline. 

You'll have an understanding of portfolio, programme as well as digital product and project delivery methodologies and will have excellent stakeholder management experience with evidence of delivering cultural change programmes across multiple functions.

With excellent communication skills, able to develop strong working relationships with senior stakeholders, you'll be able to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner and will have previous experience of Business Partnership, Portfolio, Programme and Project Management.

You'll have energy, focus, and drive to push forward our plans and will be able to gain a deep understanding of the BHF Strategy to 2030 and the BHF Technology Strategy and how they interact, working with senior leaders to support and drive their planned delivery.    About us
