QA Test Engineer Kingston-upon-Thames / Remote to £50k

QA Test Engineer / Software Tester (JMeter Selenium SS7 Telecoms C++). Are you a skilled QA Test Engineer with experience of testing telecoms systems? You could be joining a growing software house that's network location software is used for things like the emergency services to accurately find people that need help efficiently.

As a QA Test Engineer you will ensure the quality of the company's core location based services product offerings for telecommunication providers. You'll perform manual, automated and performance testing and write test plans and reports including UAT test plans. Collaborating with a small team there is plenty of opportunity to take ownership and have your voice heard.

There's a remote interview process; going forward you'll be based in modern, open plan offices close to the river in the vibrant town of Kingston-upon-Thames 1-2 days a week or you could be based remotely anywhere in the UK; there's also flexible working hours.

Requirements:

You have software testing experience including manual testing and automation with JMeter

You have experience of SS7 (MAP and SCCP), Diameter signalling testing

You have a good understanding of GSM / UMTS / LTE network and 3GPP standards

You have a good working knowledge of Linux OS, bash scripting and able to write simple SQL queries

You're familiar with Protocol Analyzer tools like tcpdump, snoop

You're collaborative with good communication skills
