Cloud Database Architect - UK Wide

Salary Range £60,000 - £80,000

As a Trusted recruitment partner of this global consultancy, we have been tasked with assisting in the recruitment of a Cloud Database Architect.

The Role

You will be working as part of a cloud infrastructure team on wide ranging projects including; private, public and hybrid cloud database solutions - architecting, designing, building and testing new and existing database capabilities. Database migration, automation, consolidation, and transformation programmes.

The Environment

You'll be working as part of a team that partners closely with hyperscale cloud providers and enables customers to leverage the right cloud database capabilities. The team pride themselves on a collaborative working environment with clients, vendors, and other business units to develop and execute innovative and competitive solutions.

About you

* Passion for delivering innovative secure Cloud based SQL solutions (e.g. Azure SQL, Managed Instances, Data Lake)

* Integration and analysis skills (e.g. Data Factory, Analysis Services or Spotlight)

* Tooling skills for the maintenance, consolidation and migration of database workloads

* Strong documentation/presentation and consulting skills; able to articulate an approach in design artifacts

* Able to understand the need to secure data and able to demonstrate the use of encryption/delegation of admin/penetration testing
