Role & Responsibilities:Work with highly collaborative teams to build high-quality codeContribute to all project phases: from design to deploymentDesign and develop software features requested by the product managerReligiously practice Agile methodologies and DevOps principles, to ensure all development has been properly tested in compliance to design and functional specificationsSkills & QualificationsAt least Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or MathematicsMinimum 3 years hands-on experience in software development using Java languageProficiency in any scripting languages such as Python, BASHExperience in web development using HTML, CSS, WebSocket and JavaScriptExperience working under an agile development modelStrong development, analytical and problem-solving skillFamiliarity with one or more systems such as Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, Nexus and SonarQube is a plusGood communication skills, verbal and written, able to collaborate/facilitate with various parties within the team and with other teamsGood end to end knowledge of market data would be an added advantageExperience in developing software for cloud deployment in environments such as GCP/AWS/Azure is an advantageBasic understanding of automated testing frameworks is an advantage** This role will be on a direct contract with my client for a minimum of 12 months and potential for renewal or conversion to perm.**
