Job title - Regulatory Reporting Enhancement Programme Oversight and Assurance Senior ManagerLocation - London, Canary Wharf/Remote Rate - Up to £650 PAYE/ Umbrella £834. Start date - ASAPContract - 12 months/ 3-year project high possibility to go perm. Our financial services client is currently seeking a Regulatory Reporting Enhancement Programme Oversight and Assurance Senior Manager to join their team in the London office/remote working, this contract will initially be for 12 months with the possibility to go permanent. The Regulatory Reporting Enhancement Programme ("RREP") objective is to ensure end to end prudential regulatory reporting processes are uplifted to meet regulatory expectations. The programme is led by Finance but has cross-functional representation. A remediation plan is being mobilised to deliver uplift in regulatory reporting through Risk and Finance Strategic Programmes (including Finance on The Cloud, Basel 3 Reforms, Risk 2025). The RREP will also deliver change through a direct book of remediation work to uplift processes and outcomes that will be delivered by in-flight strategic programmes. The remediation plan will be delivered over a 3-year timescale. The role holder will support the Financial Reporting Risk Steward for the programme as part of a dedicated team to provide timely and effective oversight and assurance. This is a critical role to support the success of this strategic programme and will be responsible for ongoing review of the risk management standards applied by the programme to provide effective review and challenge. This includes delivery of assurance reviews of programme outcomes.This role is part of the 2nd line of defence and will work closely with the wider BAU Risk Steward team, as well as the full range of programme stakeholders.Principal Accountabilities: Key activities and decision-making areasSupport delivery of strategy to shape RREP approach to meeting Financial Reporting Risk policy and standardsDrive consistency in approach across all in-scope prudential regulatory reporting outcomesCreate a highly effective and efficient operating structure for providing effective and timely oversight and assurance that the programme is meeting the required outcomesWork collaboratively and effectively across Finance Change Delivery and Financial Reporting Risk to deliver outcomesSupport the RREP team with how to achieve effective risk and control standards, including through the adoption of innovative approachesDesign and deliver assurance reviews to review the adequacy of remediation, and the effectiveness of resulting operational regulatory reporting processesProvide timely and effective insight into how well the programme is managing Financial Reporting Risk.Demonstrable impact on the effectiveness of the programme in strengthening risk and control relevant to Financial Reporting RiskDelivery of oversight and assurance milestones within plan and within budgetsRobust documentation of oversight and assurance plans with clear rationale for decisions takenAssurance reviews completed to high quality, with valuable recommendations, and on timeStakeholder communication plans in place and delivered against.Develop and deliver key stakeholder communications on Financial Reporting RiskInput into reporting to relevant governance forums on the status of the programme's management of Financial Reporting Risk.Proven experience in the oversight of risk and control in a Finance functionKnowledge & Experience / QualificationsGood experience in delivering a programme of assurance or audit reviewsStrong project management capabilities with a track record of supporting complex change projectsDrive, motivation, and commitmentUnderstanding of the Bank's group structures values, behaviours, processes, and objectivesKnowledge of the external regulatory reporting environmentUnderstanding of the Finance operating model at Group, country, and business levelUnderstanding of Finance and Risk systemsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to handle multiple outputs at the same timeStrong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with proven experience of communicating effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group in a complex global environmentAble to operate effectively under pressure and navigate ambiguity and changing prioritiesOutstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skillsIf you are relevant or interested, please contact me at
